Ellen Warkentine Piano

Ellen Warkentine performs traditional jazz on voice, piano, and clarinet. She performs with The Naughty Doings, an LA-based all-female trad jazz band, and with the Brooklyn-based collective The Small Dog Jazz Society. Favorite gigs include playing in New Orleans on Frenchmen Street with Jelly Roll Stompers and for The Findyhoppers at The Coney Island Mermaid Parade. 

Ellen also plays and composes for theater and variety shows, collaborating with various theater groups in Los Angeles and New York including Four Larks Theatre, The Garage Theatre, and Kinetic Cabaret Productions. Ellen has been a dedicated music and theatre teaching artist in Los Angeles for over 15 years.
